This is going to be a camera shoot on a soundstage with all the Cats’ imagery, professionally mixed by our sound team and edited in-house for a full on experience. It is not just a ‘stand-up-and-play’ type show as always we will bring more. Think of it as our very own ‘Old Grey Whistle Test’. We think it’s worth highlighting a few key points at this stage… This is a key event for us, as a band, as not only do we want to give you all something fabulous to look forward to before Christmas, but the tickets we sell will give us the backbone for what, we hope, will be the 2021 ATLANTIS touring schedule – it is therefore extremely important! As we all know times are strange and 2020 has been brutal to everyone in the industry.
Yes, we know that one person can buy a ticket and then have a house full to watch it, we can not stop that from happening – but how good will they feel knowing that this will not be in the spirit of things? and, indeed, could be jeopardising the chance for us to tour next year. “They be Pirates!!!” Being Cats fans we know this is unlikely – So if you are able to have six friends round, please, everyone get a ticket. That way you will be more comfortable in the knowledge that 2021 will be a whole lot better and you are more likely to see us on the road at some point. Make it a real night of Cat magic in your living rooms – we promise you new songs, old songs, epic songs… and the rooftops will be rocking. Plus all the extras which we cannot yet reveal.
It’s also worth mentioning that if this event goes according to plan then we have something else lined up and waiting in the wings – which will also be rather special. But this ALL depends on you guys buying the tickets for this first amazing event.
