ODD CREW stellen Musikvideo zu "Wasted Days" online
Die Bulgarische Metal Formation ODD CREW hat ein neues Video zum Song "Wasted Days" veröffentlicht. Das 6. Studioalbum der Band, Dark Matters (Part 1), erscheint am 27. Mai über Drakkar Entertainment.
Der erneut in schwarz/weiss gehaltene Videoclip weist eindrucksvoll sowie emotional, die neue musikalische Richtung der Band auf.
Das neue ODD CREW Album soll demnach laut Band, welche sich bislang vermehrt im Southern/Groove bis hin zu Thrash und Melodeath aufhielt, „heavier, slow und rough“ werden, wobei auch die melodischen Songwriting Qualitäten der ODD CREW vermehrt zum Vorschein kommen. Kurz vor Veröffentlichung der neuen Single "Wasted Days", gab der Vierer bekannt dass es 4 Alben zu Dark Matters geben soll, zum ersten Teil soll es bald auch eine filmische Begleitung geben.
Gitarrist Vasil Parvanovski erzählt zum neuen Video und Song: “For me, ‘Wasted Days’ is one of the tracks on the album with the most cyclical and darkest feeling. I remember when we worked on the idea, everyone in the band fell in love with this simple and heavy riff. It also led the overall concept we wanted to have in the song to keep that gloomy feeling. We made videos for all the songs off the album, and the video for this song was the first finished one we watched. After seeing it we said to ourselves that this is exactly the emotion we wanted to keep for them all.”

Nach fünf Studioalben, zwei DVDs und unzähligen Live Shows in mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten Band Geschichte, scheinen ODD CREW mit Dark Matters (Part 1) in ihrem Sound gereift zu sein. Die Truppe mag vieleicht längst nicht mehr zu Bulgarien’s Geheim-Tip in Sachen Heavy Rock und Metal zählen, macht sich mit ihrem kommenden Album jedoch ohne Zweifel unverzichtbar für die internationale Musik Szene.
Dark Matters (Part 1) wurde im Band-eigenen "ButcherHouse Studio" aufgenommen, gemixt und gemastert.
