Celebrating 30 years in the death metal scene, German metallers SACRIFICIUM bring their magnum opus, "Oblivion".
The album features the band's signature groovy death metal sound with heavy riffs and atmospheric elements. With a mix of brutality and melody, the album offers a chaotic and intense listening experience with low growls, fast riffs, and melodic breaks that will satisfy any death metal fan. The lyrics delve into humanity's uncertain existence, critical worldviews, and guilt.
SACRIFICIUM has shared the stage with Extol, Dismember, and The Black Dahlia Murder. The album was recorded by Wolfgang Nillies at Earmaster Production Studio, mixed by Jani Stefanovic at Dreamdecipher Productions, and mastered by Ronnie Björnström at Björnström Sound & Production. It also features guest vocals from Eddie De Witte (Hilasterion & Sheltered Sun) on "Cohorts of Oblivion" and Christoph Zacharias (World to Ashes) on "Eye for an Eye".
