After the Sun is taken from Accidental Presidents forthcoming 2nd album Was it meant to be this way? - out Q4 2023. Showcasing the expressive voice of Dahlia Neville, After the Sun is an expansive, melodic, mid-tempo song stacked with lush vocal harmonies that pull at the heart strings. Reflecting on the harsh experience of betrayal, the track takes the listener on an emotional journey to a final soaring Guitar solo meant to be blasted from the roof tops. AP reflect: “Each & everyone of us are tested in life, but it’s only when we’re really tested, that we find out who we really are.”

The song already went in at #2 in the AMRAP (Australian Music Radio Airplay Project) METRO CHARTS

BIOGRAPHY - Formed in 2015, AP went through a long, hard road of lineup changes and life events that caused a lot of pitfalls in their early development, but used these challenges as motivation to build something meaningful with their eponymous debut Album in 2020 - a socially aware brand of Alt/Hard rock mixed with Goth & Metal influences, the release of which resulted in heavy rotation on Independent radio & some great reviews. LIVE playing very much informed the feel of that album - their biggest gig to date supporting Reckless Love @ The Crowbar Sydney for which they received many plaudits. Covid was used as an opportunity to stretch themselves musically by covering some diverse but favourite songs on TikTok/Youtube, & they then set about writing a meaningful follow up Album that they feel listeners will really connect with on both musical & lyrical levels.
