Sänger Corey Glover (Living Colour) und Gitarrist Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob) schließen sich mit Bassist Booker King und Schlagzeuger Taykwuan Jackson zusammen und gründen Sonic Universe.
Die Band hat einen weltweiten Vertrag mit earMUSIC für ihr Debütalbum „It Is What It Is" unterzeichnet, welches am 10. Mai erscheinen wird.
Das Album enthält 10 Songs und wurde von Mike Orlando in den Sonic Stomp Studios produziert, aufgenommen und gemischt.
