FUTURE STATIC announce first headline shows in Germany. Plus European Festival dates + support tour with Ankor.
Fresh off the back of supporting German superstars Electric Callboy and UK giants TesseracT in Australia, Melbourne phenomenon Future Static play their first ever German headline shows in Hamburg and Berlin this August, for the Liminality Tour; alongside their highly anticipated summer festival appearances, and supporting Spanish sensation Ankor across Germany.
An innate fusion of metalcore, progressive metal, alternative rock, and pop sensibilities, their fierce sonic output is epitomised by infectious hooks against their explosive sound. The group are led by their breathtaking lead vocal tandem, a magical chemistry of bassist Kira Neil, alongside the electrifying Melbourne born, Barcelona raised front-woman Amariah Cook.
Now one of Australia’s most talked about breakthrough heavy acts, Future Static unveiled their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Liminality’, on November 24th, 2023 via Wild Thing Records - landing #1 on the Australian AIR Independent Album charts. Following taking the Australian live circuit by storm, the release of ‘Liminality’ marked the next step in the band’s hugely promising career. Positive German reviews of ‘Liminality’ ensued, with Riot Vision proclaiming “Future Static has definitely opened a versatile and musically demanding chapter in the sphere of alternative and progressive metal”, Metal Hammer Germany declared they’re “a promise for the future”, and Laut.de announced ‘Liminality’ as “one of the most fun metalcore albums of the year.”
Last fall, the group concluded their first international tour across Europe and the UK, including dates with The Omnific, plus appearances at legendary German festivals Reeperbahn and Euroblast, where they were a massive hit. At home, Future Static have toured with Ukrainian prog-metal powerhouse Jinjer, and Eurovision alumni Aussies Voyager, plus being hand-picked for shows with artists as diverse as Crossfaith, Alpha Wolf, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Caligula's Horse, Clowns, RedHook, and Windwaker, and performing at iconic festivals UNIFY, Knight & Day, and more.
