Death Metal Band Vomit Forth kündigen neues Album Terrified of God an.
Die im Nordosten der USA beheimateten Terroragenten Vomit Forth haben es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, den brutalsten Death Metal zu schaffen, den die Welt je erlebt hat.
Heute kündigt die Band ihr neues Album Terrified Of God an, das am 11. Oktober über Century Media Records erscheinen wird. Im tiefen Winter Anfang des Jahres 2024 zog sich die Band in eine Hütte im Wald zurück, um mit Randy Lebouf (The Acacia Strain, Jesus Piece) das Album aufzunehmen, abzumischen, zu mastern und zu produzieren. Vomit Forth hatten sich zum Ziel gesetzt, "die verstörendste, brutalste und furchterregendste Death-Metal-Platte aller Zeiten" zu machen, und mit den zwölf Tracks des Albums haben sie dieses Ziel übertroffen. Über die Themen des Albums sagt Sänger Kanes: “The biggest thing I want to get across with this record and that humanity doesn’t know everything. We are flawed, and in a lot of ways disgusting. We act like we aren’t afraid of what happens after we die. I know most people like to think nothing happens and we just conduct heat. That there’s no consequence other than how we effect other people during our time here, but I know there’s a hint of fear in the back of everyone’s mind. Everyone feels it. Not a single person on this earth lives without being Terrified of God at one point or another in their life.”

Kane fügt über den Song hinzu: “Rotting Wool is about how even though we try to deceive ourselves and each other we can’t ultimately hide from the truth. In the end we all find out if it was all worth it. We can’t hide from it. Our own failures, insecurities, and inner pain. We can put the wool over our eyes, but it will eventually fall away.”

Die besten Melodien gehören dem Teufel, und BEWITCHER, das Bastard-Triptychon aus Portland, ist zurückgekehrt, um den Rock n' Roll im Namen Baphomets zurückzuerobern. "Spell Shock", das neueste Werk der Speed-Dämonen, lässt BEWITCHERs Hörner erklingen und treibt ihre Extreme direkt ins feurige Rot. UNEARTH veröffentlichen neue Digital EP Bask In The Blood Of Our Demons
Heute erfreuen UNEARTH Metal- Fans auf der ganzen Welt mit der Veröffentlichung ihrer mitreißenden neuen digitalen EP Bask In The Blood Of Our Demons. Diese EP enthält eine starke Mischung aus unveröffentlichten Tracks und atemberaubenden Live-Performances und zeigt UNEARTHs charakteristische Mischung aus wütender Instrumentierung und nachdenklich stimmender Lyrik. Die EP enthält zwei brandneue Stücke aus dem Entstehungsprozess von The Wretched; The Ruinous, "Sea of the Lost" und "Warrior Souls", wobei vor allem "Warrior Souls" die Geschichte des Albums weiterführt.
“It's a pit starter from the opening seconds and is heavy and uncompromising throughout,” erklärt die Band. “ Lyrically it imagines a desolate time when future generations take vengeance on their living predecessors for not doing more to save our environment from becoming uninhabitable and our species being on the brink of extinction. The more unlivable our world becomes, the fewer political, religious and cultural divides will exist. There will be only two missions remaining for the human race; survival and retribution.”
Die dynamische Energie der EP wird durch Live-Aufnahmen von "The Wretched; The Ruinous (Live in Texas, 2023)" und "Dawn of the Militant (Live in Texas, 2023)" verstärkt, die den Fans einen Eindruck von UNEARTHs beeindruckender Bühnenpräsenz vermitteln.

Big Big Train kündigen "A Flare On The Lens" Livealbum an!
Im August und September 2023 unternahmen die multinationalen Progressive-Rocker Big Big Train ihre bisher längste Tour, bei der sie an 21 Tagen 17 Konzerte in neun Ländern Großbritanniens und Europas gaben und die mit zwei triumphalen Konzerten in der renommierten Londoner Cadogan Hall endete. Diese beiden Konzerte sind nun als "A Flare On The Lens" verewigt und werden am 13. September 2024 über InsideOutMusic veröffentlicht.
Dieses neue Konzertfilmpaket enthält alle Songs, die die Band an diesen beiden Abenden gespielt hat, und ist als limitiertes 3CD+Blu-ray- Mediabook erhältlich, bei dem der Ton des Konzertfilms in 5.1 Surround Sound und Stereo abgemischt ist. Außerdem ist eine 180g 2LP-Vinyl-Version mit Gatefold erhältlich, die eine sorgfältig ausgewählte Auswahl an Material von den Cadogan Hall Shows enthält.

Sänger Alberto Bravin kommentiert: ’’A Boy In Darkness is one of the most emotional and difficult Big Big Train songs to sing and interpret. It’s amazing how the mood of the song changes completely from a very dark place to a crowd-pleasing clapping section that leads to a tragic and powerful finale.”
Bassist Gregory Spawton sagt: “A Boy In Darkness takes the listener - and the band - on a historical and musical journey. We had never played it live until last year and it was a bit overlooked within our back catalogue. I always thought that it was one of David Longdon’s most accomplished songs and deserved greater prominence. The audience reaction every time we performed it reinforced that view.”
Violinist Clare Lindley ergänzt: “There is a weight to A Boy in Darkness, a held tension, which is there right from the start and builds throughout the song to the magnificent final chorus. It’s a tremendous song to play live, full of interesting lines and melodies and, for me, an exciting instrumental section where I play all the violin and flute solos. I think the music carries the subject matter perfectly.”

"A Flare On The Lens" enthält die komplette Show der Band in der Cadogan Hall vom zweiten ihrer beiden Abende dort im vergangenen Jahr und enthält auch sieben Songs, die nur am ersten Abend gespielt wurden.
Der Blu-ray-Film hat eine Laufzeit von rund 3 Stunden und enthält nicht weniger als 17 Songs, darunter Klassiker aus dem Backkatalog wie "East Coast Racer", "Hedgerow", "Folklore", "Judas Unrepentant", "Curator Of Butterflies" und "Victorian Brickwork", die instrumentale Live-Tour de Force "Apollo" und die zukünftigen Klassiker "Love Is The Light" und "Oblivion" sowie ein Akustik-Medley mit drei Songs. "Love Is The Light" und "Oblivion" waren anschließend auf dem gefeierten Studioalbum der Band, "The Likes Of Us", das im März dieses Jahres veröffentlicht wurde, zu hören.
