Satin White - neue Single 'Monster' veröffentlicht
SATIN WHITE released their second single today called 'Monster' from the upcoming album "Born".
With 'Monster', SATIN WHITE delivers a gripping rock single that feels like a horror short film in musical form. Combining the innocence of a lullaby with the intensity of hard rock, the band tells a haunting story about childhood fears-and the lasting shadows they cast into adulthood. The song begins with a soft, eerie tone: delicate glockenspiel and the voice of a child sung by Natalie Lauber-who's afraid to fall asleep. This quiet intro quickly transitions into a nightmare sequence, where distorted guitars and thunderous drums bring the "monster" to life. It's a powerful sonic transformation, moving from childlike vulnerability to full-blown fear and chaos. More than just a song, 'Monster' is a cinematic experience.

The official music video, filmed, directed, and produced by Andreas Gemmel, was shot in an abandoned NATO bunker in Kindsbach, near
Kaiserslautern. The eerie location, with its narrow corridors and chilling lighting, enhances the tension and perfectly matches the music's dramatic shifts. It's a visual and auditory journey into a child's nightmare. SATIN WHITE, formed by Carsten Kettering (vocals, bass, drums, composition) and Frank Schnitzer (guitars, keyboards, composition), originally intended the lullaby section as a short intro. But when Schnitzer introduced his guitar riffs, the idea evolved into a full-length song, blending classic hard rock influences with modern atmospheric elements. This track is perfect for playlists like Dark Rock, Cinematic Rock, Hard Rock New Releases, or Alternative Storytelling Songs. 'Monster' is a tribute to those childhood dreams-or nightmares-that still linger, long after the lights are out.
SATIN WHITE:
The musical direction of the band SATIN WHITE is in the "rock" genre, with a focus on catchy melodies, groovy rhythms, and recognizable songs. The numerous influences from different genres are purely coincidental and give each song its individuality.
Each song is viewed as a compact and independent work, without focusing on the individual instruments, but rather to create a homogenous overall work.
The meaning of SATIN WHITE is based on the psychology of colors.
The color white represents a new beginning (BORN), unlimited possibilities, and hope for the future. Musically, SATIN WHITE appears fresh and contemporary on the one hand, but on the other, the lyrics, in stark contrast to the music, are rather dark in nature.
Carsten Kettering from Kaiserslautern (Germany) is the former bassist of Ross The Boss (Manowar, The Dictators), who contributed to the songwriting on the albums "New Metal Leader" and "Hailstorm" (AFM Records) as an equal member. With worldwide festival and tour appearances, Carsten actively contributed to the comeback of Ross "The Boss" Friedman.
Carsten played bass for MAJESTY and supported the band live on European tours in 2013. He also appeared as a studio bassist for the album "Banners High" (2013).
With IVORY NIGHT (now HAMMER KING), Carsten released three albums (7-Dawn Of The Night, Machine, The Healing), toured South America with the band, and played at numerous festivals and clubs throughout Europe. Josh Kramer (SAINT) hired Carsten as live bassist for his 2005 "Josh Kramer Of SAINT" festival tour in Germany.
Other projects included BURNING BUSES and MEN OF WAR.
Carsten Kettering has shared the stage with JUDAS PRIEST, JOURNEY, POWERWOLF, GRAVE DIGGER, BATTLE BEAST, PRIMAL FEAR, GUANO APES, and many more.
Key festival appearances: Masters Of Rock (Czech Republic), Bloodstock Festival (England), Gilmann Fest (Venezuela), Bang Your Head Festival, Keep It True Festival, and many more.
Tours: POWERWOLF (Wolfsnächte Tour 2013, No. 1 German Album Charts Tour), GRAVE DIGGER (German Metal Attack Tour 2013), Ross The Boss (Germany, South America, Greece, and Europe tour “New Metal Leader” 2008 with SINNER).
Frank Schnitzer is a guitar teacher, singer, and multi-instrumentalist without a particular musical style. He took his first steps as a rock guitarist in 1995 with Carsten Kettering, which ultimately led him to SATIN WHITE 24 years later. Since then, he has played both as a permanent member and as a guest musician in various big bands, brass bands, cover rock bands, and band projects in Germany, France, and Spain, such as the "fiesta de la cerveza" in Calella and the German Federal Music Festival in Friedrichshafen. Since 2009, he has been a permanent member of the acoustic duo TRUE VOICES as a singer and guitarist.
