Nach überragenden Kritiken für ihr Debütalbum „To live in a different way“, das im Februar 2025 über Century Media Records veröffentlicht wurde, ist die britische Band Love Is Noise viel früher als von den Fans erwartet mit neuer Musik zurückgekehrt. Mit „Hole In Me“ und „All Eyes Shut“ veröffentlicht die Band zwei brandneue Songs direkt nacheinander und liefert gleichzeitig ein mitreißendes Musikvideo zum Titelsong „Hole In Me“.

Zusammen mit der Veröffentlichung der neuen Singles „Hole In Me” und „All Eyes Shut” präsentiert die Band nicht nur ihr vielleicht bisher stärkstes Musikvideo, sondern auch ihre brandneue Besetzung. Sam Clark (Bass), Alex Ioannou (Gitarre) und Joe Pink (Schlagzeug) sind nun offiziell Teil der Band um Cameron Humphrey (Gesang), was ein weiteres Kapitel für das Quintett aufschlägt.
Cam sagt über die neue Besetzung:
„Es ist eine große Freude, Sam, Joe und Alex in unserer Mitte willkommen zu heißen. Sie waren im letzten Jahr mit Love Is Noise auf Tour und die Chemie zwischen uns war einfach unbeschreiblich. Deshalb fiel uns die Entscheidung, ihnen ein festes Engagement anzubieten, sehr leicht. Wir sind wie Brüder und ich kann es kaum erwarten, mit ihnen um die Welt zu touren.“
Über die neuen Singles sagt er:
„Hole In Me schlägt ein neues Kapitel von Love Is Noise auf. Aus 1 wird 4. Dieser Song ist Herzschmerz in seiner reinsten Form, begleitet von unserer bisher härtesten Instrumentierung. Das ist die Zukunft! All Eyes Shut hingegen, mit einem Gitarrensolo von unserem Freund Erik, lehnt sich eher an unsere Alternative-Rock-Einflüsse an. Der Song klingt, als wäre er aus der Everlong-Ära der Foo Fighters entstanden. Für uns ist das eine perfekte Kombination und eine großartige Ergänzung zu Hole In Me.”
Die Reise vonLove Is Noise begann 2021 als Zusammenarbeit zwischen Humphrey und dem Gitarristen Tom Mellon, der das Ätherische und das Intensive ausbalanciert. Zu den klanglichen Wegweisern gehören moderner Shoegaze sowie Bands wie Glassjaw und Deftones. Die 2022 erschienene EP Euphoria, Where Were You? (veröffentlicht auf der 333 WRECORDS CREW von FEVER 333-Frontmann Jason Aalon Butler) wies auf einen ganz eigenen, herzzerreißenden Sound hin. Eine Reihe von Singles führte dazu, dass die Band einen Vertrag mit Century Media abschloss und mit der Arbeit an ihrem Debütalbum begann.

Bio
Love Is Noise began its journey in 2021 as a collaboration between Humphrey and former guitarist Tom Mellon (who recently left the band to explore other musical endeavours) balancing the ethereal and intense. While sonic signposts include modern-day shoegaze as well as the likes of Glassjaw and Deftones, the band’s 2022 EP, Euphoria, Where Were You? (released on FEVER 333 frontman Jason Aalon Butler’s 333 WRECKORDS CREW) pointed towards a soul-crushing sonic heartache all their own.
A string of singles led to the band inking with Century Media and beginning work on their debut album. Love Is Noise released the first taste of new music with the acclaimed singles “Soft Glow” and “Jawbreaker” “To live in a different way”, “take.one.minute”, and “It Hurts To Know You're There”, which appeared on numerous playlists across the streaming platforms and were featured on BBC Radio One, Kerrang! Radio and Total Rock. The band’s Century Media debut, ‘To live in a different way’, straddles the roughshod riffing and volume of their DIY origins while embracing shoegaze-facing melodiousness, hints of Brit-pop, and a beating (and bleeding) heart erupting from Cam Humphrey’s plaintive vocals. Co-produced by the band with engineer Kel Pinchin and mixed by John Markson (Drug Church, Drain, The Story So Far), ‘To live in a different way’ is a startling debut album.
