Rimmar - neue Single "Mighty Messenger" feat. Fabio Lione

“It’s a dream come true, lasting for years. Now everything can begin.” With these words, italian guitarist and composer Marco Rinaldi announced the launch of Rimmar, his visionary solo project.

That dream now takes full form with the release of "Raises", a bold and cinematic debut album out today July 4th, 2025 via Rockshots Records.

Far from being a traditional band, Rimmar is a one-man artistic endeavor driven entirely by Rinaldi’s creative vision. "Raises" is entirely written and arranged by Rinaldi himself, with all guitars and vocals performed by him and bass guitars and programming handled by Antonio Inserillo. The result is a genre-defying record that fuses classic, progressive and industrial metal with elements of synthwave and electronic music creating a modern and hybrid sound that speaks equally to fans of metal, prog and experimental music.

At the heart of "Raises" lies a conceptual journey built around themes of rebirth, transcendence and emotional elevation. The album’s symbolic core is the image of a volume knob in constant ascent—an allegory for the need to rise above indifference, superficiality and disconnection. Melodic yet heavy, nostalgic yet futuristic, "Raises" blends the epic attitude of ‘80s metal with the intellectual daring of ‘90s prog and the slick textures of modern synths.

Following the first two singles—"Planet Mars", an explosive introduction to Rimmar’s cinematic sound and "Unreal", a song reflecting purification through water—the third chapter arrives with “Mighty Messenger”, featuring none other than Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire, Angra). A new official music video accompanies the release further amplifying the album’s visual and emotional impact.

Rinaldi has also brought together a cast of outstanding vocal guests from across the Italian metal and rock scene, each adding their own personality and depth to the songs:
• Fabio Lione on “Mighty Messenger” and “Vortex”
• Marco Biuller (Smelly Boggs, J27, 80’s Sunset Strip)
• Mattia Fagiolo (White Thunder, Dragonhammer)
• Kyo Calati (MindAheaD)
• Elisa Proietti (Daruma)
• Marco Andreotti (Imagine Dragons tribute)

"Raises" was recorded at MHS Studio, produced by Antonio Inserillo and mixed and mastered by Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere) at Truck Me Hard Studio in Alessandria, Italy—adding further sonic refinement to a project that is both deeply personal and sonically expansive.
Rimmar also exists in full-band live form featuring seasoned musicians from the Italian scene. Their performance—blending metal intensity with electronic aesthetics—makes the project a strong candidate for festival bookings, showcases and club tours across Europe.
With "Raises", Rimmar doesn’t just release a debut album: he delivers a fully realized, emotionally resonant work of art. For fans of Devin Townsend, Pain, Nine Inch Nails and Faith No More, this is a release that stands at the intersection of power, reflection and modernity.
