ORBIT CULTURE – dritte neue Single/Video "Hydra"
Die Schweden von ORBIT CULTURE legen nach und bringen mit „Hydra“ ihre dritte Single vom kommenden Album „Death Above Life“ raus, das am 3. Oktober 2025 erscheinen wird.
Die Band sagt selbst dazu:
„Mit ‚Hydra‘ sind wir noch tiefer in die tiefgestimmten Abgründe eingetaucht, die wir schon mit ‚Death Above Life‘ angekratzt haben. Textlich geht’s direkt ans Eingemachte: Es geht ums Loslassen, ums endgültige Kappen von Verbindungen – ehrlich, roh, kompromisslos. Der Song ist in einer Phase voller Stress und Frust entstanden – das alles in Worte zu packen, war wie ein reinigender Befreiungsschlag.
Optisch haben uns die epischen Bilder aus den ‚Dune‘-Filmen inspiriert – diese riesige Weite, die sich auch im Sound wiederfindet: tiefergelegte, verzerrte Cellos, donnernde Drums, als würde was Gewaltiges auf uns zurollen. Für uns eines der aufwendigsten Videos bisher. Gedreht in der Wüste Kaliforniens – kein Greenscreen, keine Tricks. Nur vier verschwitzte Schweden mitten in der brutalen Hitze.“
