LÜT droppen neue Single & Video “Smil & Vink”
”Smil & Vink” was the first song we wrote for the album that marks the start of our new era.
You could say it welcomes change and challenges, but we also touch on the theme of playing in a rock band, and then it's kind of cool to say ”We´re flykicking Jackie Chan, playing in a rock & roll band!” We believe it hits the spot with heavy riffs, sing-along factor and pretty decent melodies - so have a great time with it!
With “Smil & Vink” (English: “Smile and Wink”), LÜT from Tromsø, Norway, are releasing their fourth single from their third album “LÜT,” which will be released in September 2025. Following their penultimate single “Glücksschmied,” which the band recorded with Bela B from Die Ärzte (after successfully opening for Die Ärzte), the band now delivers “Smil & Vink,” a driving indie rock track that showcases the style for which the band has become known: stadium-ready punk rock with Norwegian lyrics and rough vocals, driving and, above all, very catchy!
The band will return to Germany on tour in September 2025, performing at Séparée31 — the “smallest venue in St. Pauli” — at the Millerntor Stadium after the home game against 1. FC Augsburg on September 14th. They will also perform in Switzerland for the first time!
