FIREWIND, Greece's leading metal band spearheaded by guitar-wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band member Gus G., has just released a new live album entitled "Apotheosis - Live 2012", celebrating the 10th anniversary of the band in style.
The live songs featured on this powerful sounding release were recorded at special anniversary shows in Greece as well as all over Europe during the band's "Few Against Many" tour in 2012 and comes with a playing time of 69 minutes, featuring a great overview of the band's 7-albums spanning career so far as well as quite a different track-listing than 2008's "Live Premonition" release.
Jerzee ist zurück. Nach ihrer Nominierung als Preisträgerin des Deutschen Rock und Pop Preises in der Kategorie Folkrock (2005) und ihren Veröffentlichungen „It's Me“ und „Face To Face“ kündigt Jerzee für 2013 ein neues Album an. „It's Only Rock'n Roll But It Feels Like Love“ - eine Sammlung ihrer besten Songs der zurückliegenden drei Jahre wird von Jeff Silverman (u.a. Rick Springfield, Paula Abdul, Prince) in Nashville produziert.
Die 2000 gegründete Band Pulver besteht aus Inga (vox), V.O. (guit), Sandro (guit), Franky (bass) und Tschibu, der auch als Schlagzeuger für The Order tätig ist.
Das Augenmerk bei dieser Formation dürfte auf dem Ehepaar Pulver liegen. Beide Partner konnten in ihrem vor-familiären Leben massenweise Erfahrungen im Musikbusiness sammeln. V.O. als Mastermind von gurD (ist auch weiterhin aktuell), die aus Poltergeist entstanden sind, Inga als Gitarristin der Crossoverband Ritual oder später Shore.
In der Vergangenheit haben wir schon einige Events organisiert, wobei das letzte drei Jahre (2010/U:M:P:) zurückliegt. Dieses Jahr wird es an zwei Tagen stattfinden und wir werden es in Form eines Festivals ausprobieren... RAGE veröffentlichen Klassik-Projekt »LMO« LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA vereint Heavy Metal mit gleich zwei Orchestern
Am 2. August erscheint »LMO«, das Debütalbum des LINGUA MORTIS ORCHESTRA – ein Projekt der deutschen Erfolgsband RAGE und ihrer Musiker Victor Smolski (Gitarre, Keyboard, Cello), Peavy Wagner (Gesang und Bass) und André Hilgers (Drums). »LMO« ist die Weiterführung des 1996 veröffentlichten »Lingua Mortis« Longplayers, der zur damaligen Zeit Pionierarbeit bei der Verknüpfung von Metal mit Klassik leistete.
