EXHUMED: Necrocracy Track-By-Track Breakdown Now Available At Guitar World North American Takeover To Commence This Weekend
In conjunction with EXHUMED's forthcoming North American live takeover, set to commence this weekend, today Guitar World delivers a thorough track-by-track breakdown of Necrocracy. Released last month via Relapse Records, and crowned, "one of the year's best death/goregrind releases," by About.com, the record serves as the band's most musically adept, sonically punishing and conceptually provocative recording of their gore-strewn catalog.
One of the year's most unexpected doom metal albums is also now one of 2013's most anticipated, as the debut LP from Pacific Northwestern trio LUMBAR is being prepared for arrival.
While this brutalizing slow-motion trio boasts what some are referring to as "supergroup" status -- containing members Aaron Edge (Himsa, Iamthethorn, Roareth, Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth), Mike Scheidt (YOB) and Tad Doyle (Tad, Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth) -- LUMBAR was formed by these longtime friends for much more than simply creating riffs.
TOXIC HOLOCAUST: New Track Unleashed At Loudwire Chemistry Of Consciousness Release Draws Near
Chemistry Of Consciousness, the imminent new full-length from Portland metal punks, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, is easily among the most anticipated offerings of 2013 and what better way to celebrate its looming takeover than with a new track premiere courtesy of mega metal portal, Loudwire!
